The RPG serves as a spiritual successor to the iconic Dark Souls series which inspired an entire sub-genre of action role-playing games.
Given the relatively small size of Elden Ring, gamers hopefully won't need to free up storage space on their preferred platform.Īnnounced at E3 2019, Elden Ring promises to be FromSoftware's biggest game to date. Call of Duty: Modern Warfareand its Warzone battle royale mode clock it at a hefty 231GB on modern consoles, while Red Dead Redemption 2 requires a chunky 150GB. While 44.47GB isn't tiny, it's a far cry to several other AAA video games. If a Day One patch isn't on the cards, Elden Ring's file size may come as a pleasant surprise to gamers.
